Niacinamide

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3, and one of the few cosmetic ingredients with a genuine consensus behind it: it is well tolerated, it is stable, and it does not need to be handled carefully to work.

In the hydrogel it does the least dramatic and most dependable work of anything in the formula. It asks nothing of the routine around it, which is why it can sit alongside the bakuchiol without either having to be used more carefully.
